this is a label that i have been meaning to start for years. however, with a possible twist of fate, it is the right time and the perfect body of music to be able to commit to vinyl. these are records that i am honoured to own and play out. a new label from bristol based artist, thrilogy (also known as lee pattison who previously recorded as deepgroove (rekids, cocoon, klang elektronik, junior boys own). expect -organic dusty sampling deep house and techno from bristol artists and friends further afield- and hand-drawn artwork by local artist anna higgie. thrilogy has previously recorded on wolf music, futureboogie and om records and look forward to an ep on omena with an exciting man power remix. also, ishmael finishes the year on a high, his debut album sometime in space (on church records) showcased the multi-instrumentalist s jazzy house cuts alongside peak time techno and chilling ambient pieces. since then ishmael has been touring his live show, as well as releasing some of the most inventive house music to come out of the uk.
although it is not really their debut, gt003 unveils a new stage for the sao paulo collective and its eponymous label on their global endeavours, be it for the chosen source of material they offer or for the regal remixer recruited to enhance its flavours: discosmic royalty prins thomas. delving into the grooves we find ourselves amidst rhythms that rely heavily on the hypnotic power of an infectious bassline, powered by some greasy fingering responsible for the type of gravy that makes brazilian cuisine world renowned. the flip is served by your balearic highness, designing one of his mind-bending journeys by turning the original flavours into a dense compound of molten polyrhythms and worldly spices. an earful of delights for anyone fairly interested in sensorial expansion with high concentration of musical content, what can easily be found when such diversity is sought after, as has been gop tun s mission throughout.
more pft hotness on 12inch for your delight and delectation. alongside stalwarts such as goshawk, rhythm plate and yse we are delighted to welcome switzerlands finest deep house producer shaka to the pft roster. his track dream thing should really be called dance thing as it s proper groovy, tracky and jazzy in equal measures. love it. i ve used up half the word count already so to sum up each artist/track in one word i would say goshawk mozambique = chunky rhythm plate string thing = stringy yse reflections = syncopated. listen to it, you might like it.

vinyl comes in a vacuum packed transparent sleeve cycle ep is the first public transmission from w.t.r, setting the syntax for subsequent label releases to come, cycle ep comes offered as a unique handmade vacuum packaged production, praising the records functionality as well as a utility for the worlds need to dance. the eponymous title track cycle brings the listener gale force into a tunnel, packed dense with repetitive computer servers, crashing through a thrum of gated rim shots and acid splashed cartoonish sequences, don’t be disturbed by the repetitive glitch of parasites rising slowly inside your ears. the alternatively named title chain guides the listener into an immersive walloping ravy realm, satisfying the desire for the motorik rhythmic. a slick, sensual and sublime introduction into the world of reless. and no need to introduce you to shlømo, a rising darkstar in french techno scene who s take on cycle pulls apart the harsh dystopian factory sounds cultivated in the original track, exploring a more organic and hazy constitution, retaining the stern demand for the listeners attention, while exploring the original records ability to make people communicate within any space and species, at any time of the night or day...
college - old tapes celebrates ten years of composition from 2006 and 2016. most of these tracks are unreleased demo versions. to illustrate the music video of the track -auto pilot-, college team up with the director dan bell. this collaboration, born out of the same generational anchoring, reflects the strange dream of a paradise of the consumption which collapses silently.
as a first follow up to his acclaimed 2012 jr plankton release, plankton teamed up with robert defcon and produced an astounding collage of european and afroamerican sounds, vocals and rhythms, both psychedelic and bass heavy. licensed to groove, the 5 tracks on oh babe merge the sonically improbable – highlighted by the artificial landscape of armin linkes cover photo and max da artwork. when krauts rausch (german for intoxication or noise) you know theyre onto a winner: the fresh new release opens with a sizzling drone ascending the throne of psychedelic sequencer rock. the title tune oh babe injects screwed, subtly lewd funk vocals into a slo-mo, yet ecstatic disco anthem, underscored by a pulsating filter funk bass, while bass n hippies and get up fuse deep progrock killer grooves with raunchy vocoder rap and funky turntable scratching, which will have you on your feet for sure. after a night out dancing, the final track, jealousy, evokes a scenery of solitary paranoia, both chilled out and chilling. defcon and plankton are connected by years of friendship and a dedication to minimalistic grooves and collage techniques in the tradition of stockhausen and can and the turntable and sampling culture of early hip hop.
if you‘re familiar with cvbox‘ music you know that he isn’t the guy for your average techno track. formalistic song structures aren’t his thing. when you’ll start to listen to a new cvbox track you’ll don’t know how it will end. his music derives from his deep love for analogue gear and a pretty unique way to deal with it.
on his first album “so ist es im nadelwald” cvbox rides between the corner points of techno, electro and ambient. the music is infused by an omnipresent darkness that isn’t just there as an end in itself but will definitely give the thrills to listener and dancers.

elliott thomas, aka etbonz, portlands prodigal son, touches down for the first time on loveon the rocks with my kinda future. etbonz, the lovechild of buckaroo banzai and thetalented ellen ripley, utilises the latest krystalvision technology over this eleven and a half minute opus to bring you to the edge of a future where maybe, just maybe, arnold didnt kill the predator.. where some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favourite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if you paid your dues. where you cant even get to the chopper, because kurt russell is in the cockpit with a head full of acid, wearing a hat made of drum machines. should we check it out? or just check into a psycho ward? whichever comes first, huh? its a kinda future that leaves you asking yourself, if i am not me, then who the hell am i? am i prins thomas? what is a diskomiks? you ever fuck a mutant? tall guy, weird clothes. first you see him, then you dont. the best mindfuck ever!
cheeky bed bugs - marilips: knowing the quality of ruff and raw housey sounds that both fabio monesi and dj octopus are prone to in their tracks, cheeky bed bugs is a collaboration that we have craved for and it comes in a gritty and dancefloor oriented form. starting off as a warm and funky piece, marilips soon goes into a puncher with a moving bassline and a reverbed claps while the main sequence taints it with an ominous feel. the whole track is enveloped in an almost burned texture giving it pretty live sound that will heat your feet in the club. nothing short of a cheeky feel!
the first track, moaning, has a linear feeling at the beginning: a layer of bass lines makes your feet move instantly until some subtle piano sounds come in at the perfect moment. it creates an atmospheric vibe and when the bass kicks in again, everything seems to fall into place. cosmjn’s interpretation is, as expected, more serious and it has a no-nonsense approach: stripped of the melodic piano sounds, a strong bass line takes over, which makes for an interesting contrast to the original track.
if moaning was a more gentle track, fr sa su is a little bit different: dance floor oriented, the rhythm is certainly higher and it has some intriguing background sounds that go hand in hand with the powerful bass that grows on you from the start of the track. the florian meffert remix closes this ep and it goes out on a strong note: it is a complex track with very different elements and sounds that complement each other just right to get things going.
with early support from: barac, mihigh, dubtil , cristi cons, petre inspirescu , sepp , crihan
we are very proud to welcome back one of our greatest artists and good friends scott monteith aka deadbeat. scott original comes from canada but now lives in berlin for some years. scott is mostly known for his own blkrtz label, but have been releasing on many other labels over the years. the track put on your red shoes and trance is a peak time bomb, dubby, deep, powerfull and melodic track. the b-side, just jackin around is techno bomb full of dubby chords and build-up-madness. 300 limited marbeld vinyls. when the coloured edition is sold out we only have black vinyl left.
edit & dub keep pushing with volume 2 in the tee scott unreleased series. pay close attention and youll notice these are private dj versions that do not contain the main vocals of the original releases. these unreleased mixes focus on the hotness of the groove & never let it go! one-sided 12inch.
presenting the new ssaliva release on ekster: we never happened. 180g vinyl packed in a pantone printed outer sleeve with drawing by charles-henry sommelette. comes with printed inner-sleeves and silk screened plastic oversleeve. i am a vessel. a muffled mass. a bulk. extent. a womb. i move. so i am neither here nor there. always somewhere in between. to give substance to this frame, i carve out a piece of me. sometimes a shape, sometimes a form. into this space i pour the siege of me: words, pictures, you. so we can become me. viscosity and temperature dictate the time it takes. when it is done, i break the mold i am. i take the cast inside and place it by the others. choose one and take it home.
arthur forests name should be more widely known in the world of dance music, the man lent his expert to touch to more than one classic record emanating from detroit during his time and has quietly left an indelible fingerprint on house and techno history. here at mint condition and for our third release we are extremely proud to present one of art forest s (in our opinion) finest moments - the majestic, futuristic expectations ep. released in 1992, this 4 track ep has always been sought after by detroit lovers worldwide. often very difficult to track down and commanding high prices on the second hand market, this 12- is a real rarity. showcasing a style that stands out from a lot of records released around the same period -expectations- still sounds so killer today. listen to -flow with me- on the b-side, an insanely deep, melancholic piece of detroit house, steeped in motor city futurism (those synth pads!) and with an otherworldly vocal performance from dan carter it ticks all the boxes, absolutely sublime and worth the admission fee here alone. stunning. if you re up to your neck in the history of detroit dance music, or if you ve literally just stumbled upon this entire world of amazing music (welcome!) you ll want a piece of this. beautifully crafted deepness from a quiet master of the artform, what s not to dig? mc003 has been reissued with the permission and involvement of arthur forest and remastered by london s very own curvepusher. 100% legit, licensed and released. dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your new favourite reissue label - mint condition!
villalegre recordings is back with his second release after an acclaimed debut ep, which is already found in some “real deejays’ - vinyl cases, namely dj garth, stevie kotey, timm sure, richard sen and massimiliano pagliara.discómanos ep consists of 4 edits of unknown gems, masterly revisited by collectors and artists as big as mike burns, rayko , the great sagittarius and christian beetz aka frwctrl.
finnitus is back with its first 12- release! spanning the entire a side, superkind, consisting of rulefinn and kim durbeck, delivers a driving disco bass line, epic strings and screaming laughter, which the glue dubbed as the weirdest thing we ve heard in our entire lives . on the flip, rulefinn drops just try , a nine minute slow jam, slowly building to a climax worthy of finishing your perfect night at the club, and let the ok music play , an intense disco drum tool in his favourite bpm range(130s).
born out of a love for disco records and odd electronics, casino times is the project of producers joseph spencer and nicholas church - a musical partnership that is rooted in house and techno but often treads into the weird and wonderful. since first starting the project in 2010 spencer and church have steadily been crafting a back catalog that reflects their varied tastes and unique approach to electronic music. this has seen them release on a wealth of respected labels such as wolf music, futureboogie recordings & permanent vacation, just to name a few. the debut on omena, decoded ep , consists of four tracks highlighting a distinct development of their musical style. no need to dissect each and every track here to explain how it sounds, just play it and enjoy. everyone from your grandparents to your neighbour and best friend will ask for track ids.
weird, loud and doomy tracks by (sb)51. some of the best and darkest stuff we have heard all year so we are proud to drop that in your lap on the verge of the new year. this is the digital version. there is also a tape available from clone.nl - either way you are getting some hard hitting analogue sounding slabs of experimental techno with kicks as deep as the ocean.
nine compositions by italian modular master sebastiano carghini, recorded live & direct to 2 track. bubbeling and fizzing old school synths that bend their way into riffs that easily keep you on the edge of your seat. deep modular on cassette tape, cant get any more analogue than that!
dj loser kicks off his vinyl debut with your eyes were telling me that you really cared, a soothing and sun-bleached late night downbeat driver, which gives way to a2s untitled menacing and jacking tone that is sure to bang the dingiest of darkrooms. b1s i ve got dis (but i can t do it) is a bona fide slammer made to liquify whatever is left of one s mind way past the midnight hour, while seixlack s rendition of the latter brings more paranoid and percussive-led assaults to the table.
the budapest-based akkult invites the russian intelligent-techno heroine to the gang. this time she serves three very well-balanced spacey techno tunes flavoured by a pinch of classic taste. flipside brings a shady and trippy reinterpretation of the local master, andras toth.
reboot takes another slice from his recent album ‘alive’ out for a walk. this time it’s ‘are you losing my mind?’. first we’re treated to the vinyl version full of everything we loved from the original. a stripped down tech house beat sprinkled with a might vocal hymn and plenty of groove. then ricardo takes over the track with his own very particular style. he’s made two distinct versions, ‘hauswiedermischung’ is first. as he’s known to do, villalobos created a kind of chaos in which the track lives without ever losing the groove and with plenty of little surprises to discover throughout. next is ricardo’s twenty four minute ‘losing my miles’ remix, and here is where he really loosens the grip on the track and lets it wander in and out of coherence, taking it and us along for a special ride that only ricardo can deliver. from beginning to end, you don’t know what to expect but you know it when it comes. get it, press play, and lose your mind.
following his debut solo release altar ego ep on la mission in early 2016, j choirboy returns with more bombastic breakbeats and raucous rave chords for your earholes. another sharp shot of nostalgia to the heart to have you waking up spluttering in the glory days of 92. simpler times when the internet was still in black-and-white and you and seven of your mates would pile into gazs vauxhall corsa and drive to a field somewhere off the m25 for a propa wicked rave which you found out about from a party hotline on a crumpled flyer with some tenuous reference to science in the title.
what is this? this is a floor-friendly house record with three cuts by dj central. if you’re reading this, we feel it’s safe to assume that you buy records. so yes, you can own this and bring it home to keep if you like. all you need to do is pick it up and spend that hard-earned money of yours. why are we doing this? because running a label is about releasing music and we felt like this was worth sharing with you. no pressure though - don’t panic - take your time to decide. so whether you feel this three-tracker has found a new home or not, thanks for considering expanding your collection with a help record.
repress without cover artwork, re-discovered island disco masterpiece by the trinidadian quincy jones. what you wont do for love was dj harveys end-of-the-nighter for his long awaited tour of europe last year. both sides are previously unreleased extended versions of these tropical gems re-mastered from the original tapes. officially licensed, limited edition. huge tip! you need this!
wlderz is newcomer duo on skryptom. wellcome cyril and jeremy aka wlderz for your this first package of huge techno weapons. this is a pure powerfull record of techno but deep and melodious in the same time. 3 huge tracks who give us a first panel of wlderz possible direction and talent. to push farer this great moment of techno, keith carnal deliver us an efficient techno approach from sad industry, huuuuge remix, enjoy
according to numerology the number five is the most energetic and dynamic of all the single numbers. allow this to be one of your defining expectations when you start listening to * 5 *, the debut album from parisian maestro djebali. the number not only marks the number of years that have passed since his label was conceived, but also represents the months it took to complete his very first long -player. this is an important milestone in any artist’s career, the first time they have the opportunity to create something timeless – a culmination of all of their experiences so far, and a statement about where they are, and where they’re going.
nights get ever colder. the label owned by paris stalwart d’julz welcomes back an old friend in anonym, the man responsible for bcr006 and bcr021 returns for a four-track outing which includes a remix from orlando voorn. sultry atmospherics and masterful production are evident throughout this crisp new addition to the bass culture catalogue, another instant classic from the detroit badboy anonym.the first of the four tracks on this ep goes by the name of ‘castaway’, and its effortless groove will have you drifting away to a desert island the second you hear it. as a slightly obscured vocal repeats ‘castaway’ over and over, you’re lulled into a dreamlike state. simple and highly effective, its progression is subtle and invigorating. right after that we have dutch supremo orlando voorn taking charge of the remix and pushing the track deeper into celestial territory with flashes of synth that transport you out into the cosmos. the atmosphere of the original is expertly retained, with a steady pace and cool, mellow vibes throughout. flip the record over and there are two more killer cuts. first we have ‘doin it to ya body’, which keeps things minimal and straight to the point. bright disco strings lie at the heart of this track, slowly weaving their way in and out of the background while the drums and rugged b-line keep your feet moving and head bopping. lastly, ‘wara coco’ offers more hypnotic vibes drawing you with its dainty melody, dancing around the top end, while a mean bassline throbs away, deep down in the low end. it’s an strong combination and finishes off the ep in style.
a fistful of wax is an extension for some very special projects of our beloved deep house skylax records’ sub – label wax classic. for this 3rd release, we give you the opportunity to grab 4 fantastic trax done by some of the best deep house producers at the moment.a1 is done by some hot new guys straight from minsk s80 & overture “what’s up”.a2 has been made by kid mark “got to know” who released some hot tunes with nick beringer through swink music.while on the b side we have also 3 bomb tracks featuring first on b1 rosenhaft “ccmf” who’s done some tracks for 124 recordings too.b2 is done by the great alexander moralez & house of kotu “suffer” who is completely hot right now, throwing up parties in st petersburg, this track is clearly a pure deep house anthem.b3 and last is mike lee aka love island “a feelin’” in a an ibiza balearic house stylethose tracks are all firmly rooted into the deep house sound.they never settle into one comfortable, predictable groove. its heady, emotion-rich grooves include warm, melodic two-step and future garage flavas, dubwise slo-mo grooves. it s eclectic, no doubt, but thanks to those guys warm production and heavy deep vocals, this release will put your hands up in the air marvellously
ilario alicante is back on the track and he simply beats the shit out us! the italian techno maestro presents a stronger than strong release that defines the alicante-sytle in pure perfection. the extreme detroit flavoured alicante double pack tracker comes with remixes by adventice and mark broom. alicantes originals “virgo storm” and “hypno” are based on a massive and masculine beat programming and wave the “purpose maker” and “axis” flag like no other of his releases so far. this is heavy material - this feeds rob hood and jeff mills fans and we can see and hear alicantes admiration for the underground resistance back catalogue here! adventice (dj deep & romain poncet) remix for “virgo storm” follows this direction however it leaves out the manic synth elements and incorporates even more peaktime-floor-action-sounds that have only one message: total dancefloor madness! mark brooms remix for “hypno” introduces a very cool but deep-dark and filtered organ-bassline which gives his remix an even more hypnotic touch in contrast to the cheeky and nasty original by ilario alicante. this 4-track-package proofs that good and solid techno is still fresh and alicante leaves a major footprint with this release! play this loud and drive your speakers to the edge, azzurro alicante is back on cocoon recordings!
nice price deal !!! we need to say something about how the ep came about. why all the ngtv nrg? and how is it that pirahnahead has suddenly come with a full hand of top notch in your face techno when we all know him as one of the best soulful vocal house producers? the answer is in the tracks...
making a welcome return to wavereform after last years effe ep, qindek is back with the kind of distinctive dancefloor alchemy that promises to get under your skin and create an unforgettable experience. hailing from deventer in the netherlands, thomas lauren has already issued some essential releases over the past few years for labels as respected as wolfskuil and sneji, and now he comes back to wavereform with one of his most potent creations to date.

experienced crate diggers are no doubt familiar with new birth, the 17-piece funk ensemble sampled on classic hip-hop records by wu-tang clan, de la soul, junior m.a.f.i.a., black sheep, lil wayne, ice cube, and many more. the genesis of new birth can be traced back to the nite-liters, a louisville-based instrumental outfit. founded in 1963 by motown songwriter/producer harvey fuqua and saxophonist tony churchill, the nite-liters released a handful of albums in the early 70s, scoring a few minor hits and perfecting the sound that would power new birth to further success as the decade progressed. while much of the the nite liters’ early material has been overlooked, their self-titled debut album is worth revisiting. originally released on rca records in 1970, the nite liters is a raw, soulful masterpiece that has been sampled by kmd, ghostface killah and others.
